Vakaal

Member of the Elders, a mysterious ancient vampire coven deferred to by all vampires (with the exception of the one rival coven The Fury), and who control the Mansbridge Experiment. Apparently, Vakaal is one of the oldest of the Elders - possibly thousands of years old - and although he is wise and seemingly benevolent, he is so powerful even Marty Strickland and Patsy LaRue are afraid to cross him. He acts as a laison between the Elders and Dr. Murdoch, and occasionally visits Mansbridge Academy unannounced to check up on how the Experiment is progressing.
